Our teaching team comes from diverse backgrounds and offers many years of combined experience in the practice and teaching of yoga. We will focus on the techniques of yoga and on how yoga can transform our bodies, minds, and souls. *Learn to safely teach and practice with determination, intention, and accessibility for all bodies *Learn how to intelligently sequence yoga classes *Intro to anatomy, foundational yoga, energy subtle body awareness, & more *Exploration of over 100 Asanas, including Sanskrit names, alignment, energetic properties, modifications, contraindications and benefits *Learn How to uses props and make the practice accessible to all *Building a home practice *Weekly practice teaching in person with guidance *History of yoga and yogic philosophy *Introduction to meditation and pranayama *Mudras and Mantra *The Yoga Sutras *Intro to the chakra system *The business of yoga *Teaching in-studio method *Inclusive teachings * The art of holding space for all bodies and identities * Intro to restorative *Intro adjustments and proper alignment *Intro to prenatal yoga *Intro to teaching private classes *Intro to ayurveda *intro to Yoga purifications *Intro to trauma-informed yoga A total of 12 alternating weekends plus special workshops and events will give you a total of 200hrs.
